Let’s explore different cultures through music and art! Music activities include dancing to a variety of global music and learning popular dances such as hula and belly dance. During the art part of the class, we make American snow cones, Mexican tacos and other foods out of paper and play dough and also try traditional arts from the various countries we “travel” to. Children registered in the class will receive an “original journal” to gather their memories of their “trip” around the world.
Children and parents will explore stories, music, language, dance and art from around the world. Each child will receive a Travel Journal to capture the photos, art and developmental milestones visited at each destination.
Children will embark on a new globe trekking adventure each week. At each destination, they will explore music, dance, craft and play activities popular in that destination. Each child will receive a Travel Journal to capture the photos, art and developmental milestones visited at each destination. This class is a parent-optional class.
